The T-3025 is an eMachines-brand computer. eMachines was introduced in 1998 and intended to produce very low-cost PCs. Some eMachines platforms sold for as little as $400, which was very much below the average cost of a PC at that time. In selling such low-cost machines, eMachines actually caused somewhat of a price war with the major computer manufacturers of the time. However, eMachines's low-cost computers meant that the company's profit margins were extremely thin. The line was purchased by Gateway in 2004.
