How Can I Get My Comcast Account Number?

When you sign up for a service --- such as high-speed Internet, phone service or cable television --- with Comcast, you are given a specific account number. In order to create a Comcast account online, you must know your account number. If you've forgotten your account number, you can easily retrieve the number by viewing the account number posted on your statement or by speaking with a Comcast support representative.

  Look at your last Comcast bill and locate the account number at the top left of the statement.

  Visit the Comcast website if you don't have a paper bill for viewing your account number. (See Resources)

  Select the "My Account" option from the top-right corner of the page. Click the "Register a Comcast ID online now" option.

  Click the "I can't find my account number" option from the "Verification Method" section.

  Click the "Start Chat" button and allow time for the chat to load. A customer-support representative will then ask you questions to verify your identity and give you your account number.
