How Can I Get the Warning Stickers Off My New Polaris?

The warning sticker that comes on factory-delivered Polaris vehicles, known as the "lawyer sticker" within the riding community, states basic information about starting the vehicle, fuel requirements and cautions. Removing it is quite simple.

Hold the heat gun approximately 4 to 6 inches from the sticker. Move it back and forth, warming the entire surface. The heat melts the glue.

    • 2

Pull up one corner of the sticker while keeping heat on it. Continue to pull until the sticker is removed. You'll find leftover sticker residue.

    • 3

Apply the adhesive remover to the washcloth. Rub it over the sticky residue in a back-and-forth or circular motion with medium to firm pressure.

    • 4

Wash the vehicle with soapy water.
