How do I Burn Songs From a Playlist?

Burning songs from a project playlist is fairly straightforward and can be carried out on any music-burning software. After you know the basic method of carrying out this task, you can adapt it to any program.
  • Creating a Playlist

    • Open your music-burning program, such as Windows Media Player or iTunes. Create a new playlist by going to "My Playlist," right-clicking and selecting "New" or going to "File" and "New Playlist," depending on the program you are using. Type a name for your new playlist in the box that is provided.

    Add Songs

    • Go to the programs library by clicking on the "Library" tab, and either drag and drop the songs you want in your playlist into the new file, or double-click on the songs you want added, depending on your music program.

    Burning

    • Insert a blank CD-R into your computer's disk drive. Click "Copy to CD," select "Playlist" from the "Items to Copy" menu and choose "Audio CD" from the "Items on Device" pane. Or simply click on the playlist, and select the "Burn" tab, depending on the program you are using.
