How do I Fix the Ableton Live Copy Protection?

The Ableton Live music production program, popular among amateurs and professional producers and live performers, features extensive copy protection safeguards to ensure that the program is only functional if it is legitimately purchased. Sometimes users who have purchased the program may find that their code is not working or that the program is unable to process their authorization. Ableton provides a list of troubleshooting techniques in case the user is unable to process the authorization of a legitimately purchased copy of the program.
