How to Access Online Banking With a Cell

Banking online by using your cell phone is a great way to access your account on-the-go. Features you can benefit from with online mobile banking include the ability to pay bills online, view recent transactions, confirm if a check has cleared, find a nearby ATM, transfer funds to another account and check your account balance. To be able to use your cell phone to bank online, you must first sign up to your bank's online banking system through your computer. For this to be possible, your bank has to offer mobile banking access.

  Access your cell phone's Internet browser.

  Type the mobile compatible URL address of the bank you have an account with. For instance, if you bank with Bank of America, type "www.bofa.mobi" If you don't know the mobile-compatible URL for your bank, you can search for it on the bank's official website, or you can call your bank to get it. You can also type the name of the bank you have an account with on your mobile's search engine and then select its corresponding link on the search results. When you enter the name of your bank on your cell phone's search engine, the results will display the link that is mobile compatible. Not all banks have mobile banking, however.

  Type your user name and password in the corresponding fields, click on the "sign in" tab and begin banking on your mobile device.
