How to Add Custom Songs on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

Developed by Rockstar Leeds in 2006, "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" is an open-world, action-adventure game, where your character can walk, run, swim and drive cars. In cars, you have access to numerous radio stations, which play 105 different songs from the 1980s. However, after you have played the game for a long time, or if you happen to not enjoy 80s music, you can modify the soundtrack and place your own custom songs into the game. Note that this is only an option on the PlayStation Portable version of the game, not the PlayStation 2 version.

Download and install Rockstar Custom Tracks and Exact Audio Copy on your PC (see Resources for links).

    • 2

Connect the PlayStation Portable to your PC via its USB cable. Click "Show Files."

    • 3

Put your music CD into the disc drive of your PC. Double-click the Exact Audio Copy icon on your desktop to launch the program. It will automatically detect your CD upon loading.

    • 4

Click the tracks you want to transfer into your custom soundtrack. Click the "Convert" button. Close the program when the conversion is complete (the converted files are automatically placed into a Rockstar Custom Tracks folder directly on the PSP).

    • 5

Locate the folder called "*****CUSTOMTRACKS" in the original PSP folder. Rename the folder to "ULUS10160CUSTOMTRACKS." This automatically enables the custom soundtrack when you load your game.
