How to Adjust the Date & Time on a Garmin nuvi 350

The Garmin nuvi 350's time and date settings are constantly updated by the signals it receives from global positioning satellites. However, the continuous updates are not enough to guarantee that your nuvi 350 unit is displaying the time correctly. Settings for locale, time zone and daylight savings time can affect the accuracy of a 350's time display.

  Touch the "Settings" icon in the upper right corner of the screen. A menu of settings will be displayed.

  Touch the "Locale" icon in the upper right corner of the screen. A list of locations will be displayed. Select your current location then touch "Next" until the "Time Zone" setting is displayed.

  Select your current timezone from the list. Touch "Next" until the "Daylight Saving Time" setting is displayed.

  Switch the "Daylight Saving" setting on or off as needed. The "Daylight Saving" setting should auto adjust. If the device does not make this adjustment in a timely manner, you may need to update its software. This is easily accomplished using the "WebUpdater" on the Garmin nuvi website.
