Swap gems adjacent to each other in groups of three or more for 250 points. If erasing the matched gems leads to more gems matching up, your score will double. For example, you will earn 250 points by matching three red gems, and 500 points if that move also results in three blue gems being matched up.

Line up gems in a set of five or more, or line up gems in a "T" or "L" shape to earn power-ups. These power-ups will erase all gems of a certain color, or ease all gems in a certain area, all while scoring points for each gem.

Earn a certain score, dictated by the level you are in, to advance to the next level. The desired score for each level is represented by a progress bar, which will fill as your score increases. Once the bar is completely full, the level is completed.

How to Advance in "Bejeweled"
"Bejeweled" is a PC puzzle game in which players must match certain gems together to eliminate them from the game board and earn points. The most common mode is free play, where the player tries to get as high a score as possible. "Bejeweled" also has a level-based mode where the player advances by completing a certain in-game task.
