How to Back Up a Treo 755P

Every time you perform a HotSync on your Palm Treo 755p phone, you are backing up the data on the phone to the computer. If you have never synced your phone to the computer, now is a good time to start. If you ever have to perform a master reset on the phone, all of your contacts, calendars, messages and media will be available for you to reload to the phone from the computer.

  Download and install the latest version of Palm Desktop and HotSync available for the 755p (see Resources).

  Open the Palm Desktop and connect your phone to the computer using the Treo USB cable.

  Press the "Sync" button on the side of the USB cable that is connected to the phone and wait for the sync to finish.
