Graduate from an Ontario Secondary School or be at least 18 years old and pass the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) Real Estate College Admissions Test. A passing score on this test is at least 50 percent. Contact the OREA Real Estate College to enroll for the admissions test. Reach them by calling 416-391-6732 or 866-411-6732.

Enroll in the OREA Real Estate College and complete the training necessary to become licensed to practice real estate in Ontario. To enroll, call the OREA Real Estate College.

Register for a real estate license with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO). Fill out the RECO registration application and pay the registration fee. Fees are subject to change; contact RECO at 416-207-4800 or 800-245-6910 for the most current fee schedule.

Complete the required "articling" to receive permanent registration. Once you register with RECO, you must complete two more years of coursework. This coursework can be done through the OREA Real Estate College.

How to Become a Realtor in Ontario
Real estate professionals must be licensed to lawfully conduct business.
