How to Blind Read a DVD

Blind reading your DVD allows you to copy your DVD media to your computer for storage. Copying your DVD to your computer helps protect against damages that are done to your discs. Damages that can be done to your disc can include weather effects as well as misuse of the disc. Use Blindwrite to effectively make a copy of your DVD media to your computer.

      Navigate to the DVD-Software.Biz website (see Resources) and click on "Free Download" to save Blindwrite to your computer.

      Double-click on the Blindwrite setup file to install the program to your computer. Click "Next" when prompted and choose a directory to install the software to.

      Open Blindwrite and click on the tab "Read." Select the source drive that contains your DVD.

      Select a destination drive where you would like the DVD ISO image to be saved to. Select "ISO" image under "Settings."

      Click "Read" and your DVD will be read and saved.
