How to Bridge a WET200 to a WRT54GS

The WET200 and the WRT54GS are two different models of wireless computer routers released by Cisco and Linksys, respectively. Both routers are capable of creating and broadcasting their own wireless networks using an Internet connection. If you want to bridge the two connections together, you can do so using tools in the Windows operating system. Bridging connections allows the two devices to communicate with each another.

  Click "Start."

  Click "Control Panel."

  Click "Network and Sharing Center."

  Click "Change Adapter Settings."

  Click one time on the icon for your WET200 in the window on screen. Hold down the "Shift" keyboard key and click on the icon for your WRT54GS. Both icons will now be simultaneously highlighted. Right-click on one of the two icons and click "Bridge Connections" to bridge your two networking devices together.
