Open the passenger side door of the truck to access the back of the glove compartment. Some trucks will have a "hush panel" bolted behind the glove box.
- 2
Unscrew the four bolts on the hush panel with a socket wrench.
- 3
Locate the filter housing behind the glove compartment. Unclip the access panel at the bottom of the panel. Move the door to the filter housing to access the filter.
- 4
Pull the first filter out. Slide the remaining filter forward to slide it out of the housing. Replace with two new filters. The Silverado has two filters that are identical in size and shape. Push the first filter to the back. Push the second filter all the way up into the housing.

Close the panel by securing it in place over the opening. Bolt the hush panel over the filter housing with a socket wrench.

How to Change a Cabin Filter on a 2002 Chevy Truck
