How to Change the Domain Name in Plesk

Plesk is a control panel for websites that offers customization and automation of Web-hosting tasks from an easy-to-use interface. You can integrate Plesk with other products, such as Virtuozzo VPS systems. If you would like to rename a domain in Plesk, you can do so from the domain rename page by clicking the domain from your homepage and then clicking "Rename Domain."

  Open the Plesk control panel and click your domain name.

  Click the "Rename Domain" option.

  Enter a new name for your domain. You should leave the box labeled "www" selected if you wish to allow "www.domain-name.com" addresses to work in addition to those without the "www."
