How to Clean with Waterpik Oral

The Waterpik Oral Water Jet uses water pressure to remove food debris and bacteria that grow along the gum line and between teeth. These areas are hard to reach and clean with traditional toothbrushes and floss. You need to use the machine daily to achieve best results. Waterpik is so confident the Waterpik Oral Water Jet will leave your teeth looking cleaner and your gums healthier in 14 days, that they will provide you with a full refund if you are dissatisfied with the results.

Lift and remove the water reservoir from the Waterpik Oral base.

    • 2

Fill the reservoir to the indicated fill line with warm water. Place the lid securely over the water reservoir. Place the water reservoir onto the base and push downward, so it is securely in place.

    • 3

Insert the tip into the center of the water flosser handle. Push downward until the tip locks into place.

    • 4

Turn the "Pressure" knob as far to the left-hand side as it will go, so the pressure knob is on the lowest setting.

    • 5

Lean over the sink. Place the tip in your mouth, pointed toward your back or molar teeth.

    • 6

Slide the "Power" switch to the "On" position. Adjust the "Pressure" knob as needed so there is enough pressure to clean your teeth and gums, without being painful or uncomfortable.

    • 7

Move the Waterpik tip along your gum line and between teeth, working from the back teeth, toward the front.

    • 8

Slide the "Power" switch to the "Off" position when teeth are clean. Lift up the water reservoir and discard water. Push the "Eject" button on the handle and then lift the tip upward for removal.
