How to Configure Auto Update for Windows Mobile

Every cell phone has an operating system installed on it, which allows the user to control the functions of the phone. There are many different operating systems that a cell-phone manufacturer can choose to install on its device, and one of those operating systems is Windows Mobile. Users with Windows Mobile phones are given control over many aspects of their mobile device, including the way that the time is updated for Daylight Savings Time or when switching time zones. One option is to use "Auto Update" to allow the phone to automatically determine the correct time.

Turn on your Windows Mobile device.

    • 4

Use the navigational arrows on your phone to select the "Date and Time" option.

    • 5

Scroll to the "Auto Update" option, then use the right and left navigational arrows to select whether you would like this option to be "On" or "Off".
