How to Connect the Sound on the HP Pavilion Elite M9250F

As with all desktop computers, the HP Pavilion Elite M9250F has inputs on the back of the case that connect devices directly to your sound card. When you connect a set of speakers to these inputs, your computer is able to communicate with them and play sounds and audio from within your operating system.

  Turn your HP Pavilion Elite M9250F's case around so that you can see the back panel. The back panel is where all of your peripheral devices, such as your monitor and keyboard, are plugged into your computer.

  Locate the sound card inputs on your computer. These inputs will be near the center of the case. Find the one with an icon of a speaker above it. Use this input to hook up the sound on your HP Pavilion Elite M9250F.

  Connect the plug on the end of the cable that is attached to your computer speakers to the speaker input on the back of your HP Pavilion Elite M9250F. The sound on your computer is now hooked up.
