Insert the Cricut cartridge labeled "Tags, Bags, Boxes And More" into your Cricut machine. Turn on the machine.

Select decorative paper in a medium weight with which to make your box. Place the paper onto the sticky Cricut cutting mat and smooth down firmly until affixed.

Feed the paper into the cutting machine, selecting the box design you wish to create. Follow the directions in your Cricut machine instruction booklet or CD to cut out the shape of your box. After the machine has ejected the mat, peel off the box paper from the sticky mat

Fold the box according to the particular box design's instructions, which are contained in the cartridges' instruction booklet. Crease using a ruler and bone folder and cut any necessary flaps or slits using a pair of scissors.

Glue the box flaps together to form your box using a glue stick. Hold together for a couple of minutes to allow the glue to dry.

Add additional cut-outs, tags, ribbons, paper flowers or other embellishments in order to beautify your gift box.
