How to Disable Data on a Pantech C790

You can perform various functions with the Pantech C790, a multimedia device that can be used to email, text and play music. Disabling the data on the phone helps you lower the risk of going over your allotted data usage. Charges for additional data usage beyond what your contract allows can quickly add up. Once you disable data, multimedia messaging and email cannot operate. You can re-enable data usage at any time.

  Press the "Menu/OK" key on the Pantech C790. Select "My Stuff" and scroll down to "Applications." Press the "Menu/OK" key.
