How to Disassemble Samsung A737

The A737 is a model of cell phone made by Samsung, a South Korean electronics and telecommunications corporation based in Seoul. You might want to disassemble your Samsung A737 if you stop using the phone and plan on placing it in long-term storage or if you are selling the phone and sending it in the mail. Taking apart your A737 is quite easy and should only take a few minutes.
    • 1

Switch off the A737 by holding down the "Hang Up/Power" key. If the phone is connected to a charger, disconnect it.

    • 2

Turn the phone over so you can see the back.

    • 3

Apply downward pressure on the battery cover near the groove mark and slide toward the bottom of the phone. The cover will come off.

    • 4

Slip a fingernail between the battery and phone. Pry the battery out of the phone.

    • 5

Pinch the protruding edge of the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card. Pull the SIM card out the phone with the tips of your thumb and index finger.

    • 6

Set the pieces aside. The Samsung A737 is now disassembled.
