How to Do AHA Online Training

The American Heart Association (AHA) offers online training courses in CPR including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Heartsaver. It also provides both continuing medical education and regular continuing education credits for classes taken. In addition to CPR training, AHA online has course offerings on stroke education, blood borne pathogens and first aid. Online classes range from $15 to $105. However, that price does not include a hands-on skills session or skills test, which is required for certification. Therefore, it is important to locate a local training center in order to receive certification.
