How to Downgrade the Official PSP Firmware

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a hand-held video game device that was released in 2005. The PSP uses Sony firmware to run the device, but the firmware can be downgraded in order to use special features that were removed from the original firmware. These features include playing full games from the PSP's memory stick. Downgrading the PSP's official firmware can be done using a special service tool battery and memory stick.
