How to Edit Documents on Archos 5 Android

Not only can you upload and view documents on your Archos 5, but you can edit them as well. The Archos 5 with the Android operating system comes pre-installed with the "ThinkFree Office" application. "ThinkFree Office" allows you to upload, view and edit your Microsoft Office. Using the Wi-Fi service available on your Archos, you can also view and edit documents in Google Docs on "ThinkFree Office."

  Tap "ThinkFree Office" from the home screen of your Archos.

  Tap "My Docs" and select the document you want to edit.

  Use the available toolbars at the top and bottom of the document, as well as typing within the document, to make the edits you want. The toolbars will vary depending on the type of document it is. Word documents options will be similar to the Word interface on your computer, Excel's interface is similar to Excel on your computer and the same for the other document types.
