How to Enter an Interstate's Intersection in Garmin Nuvi 200W

Garmin Nuvi global positioning systems (GPS), including the 200W model, give owners multiple options when searching for routes to specific locations. These options include searching by address, type of location (e.g., lodging, food, banks and shopping), recently-found locations, favorite locations and intersections. The intersection option is perfect for situations when you aren't looking for a specific address, such as when you are looking for an interstate intersection.

  Turn on your Nuvi and wait for it to acquire satellite signals. Press the "Where to?" button and then select "Intersections" from the list of categories.

  Enter in the first intersecting road (e.g., "Interstate 90"). Press "Next" and then enter the second intersecting road. Press "Next" again.
