How to Extract the Log File on a Garmin nuvi

A Garmin nuvi GPS unit keeps a record of each trip in a trip log which can be found in the its internal GPX folder. To extract the log file, you will need to connect the GPS to a computer and use Windows Explorer. To help visualize the log file you can use an application like Google Earth or G7ToWin.
