Dial *69 to retrieve the number of the last incoming call. Check with your cell-phone provider, to make sure this code is accessible on our network. If someone answers from the retrieved number, explain that you are trying to identify the caller because they have called your phone from a blocked number several times. If you get a machine, listen to see if they say who they are on the message.

Purchase an anonymous call-blocking service. Ask your cell-phone provider if they offer a call block service. If they do, this service would be added to your phone bill. The service will prevent anyone from calling your cell phone without disclosing his or her number. The caller will hear an automated service that prompts them to unblock their number, in order to process the call. An unblocking service, such as Unblockprivatenumbers.com, is another option that can be obtained for a fee.
