Census

Go to the U.S. Census Bureau website and click "People" in the left-hand menu to open the "Basic Counts/Population" page.

Review data on age and sex, aging, disability, education, employment, income, origins and language, poverty, race and ethnicity, relationships or veterans.

Type in or use the pull-down menu in the upper-right corner and click the "Go" button to view data by city, county, state or ZIP code.

Click any link in the middle of the page for detailed information about the region selected.
FedStats

Go to the FedStats website and click on "Topic Links A to Z" to get statistical information by topic.

Click on "MapStats" to get information by state, county, city, congressional district or federal judicial district.

Select a state from the pull-down menu and click the "Submit" button to get information by state.

Click the "Statistics by Geography from U.S. Agencies" to see statistics comparing states, counties, cities and countries. For more statistical information by agency, use the links under "Links to statistical agencies" on the right side of the page.

Click the "Search" link to open a box to search by a specific term.

Click the "Additional Links" button to review additional resources to gather information about people in the USA.
