How to Find the Power Up Password for a HP Pavilion DV8000
The HP Pavilion dv8000 PC notebook is actually a series of notebook types that run on Microsoft Windows operating systems, including XP, Vista and Windows 7. When you set up your Pavilion, you likely entered a username and password that you are required to input each time you power up your laptop. If you have forgotten your password, Microsoft does not allow you to find it in your registry for security purposes --- but you can download password recovery software for Windows to help you locate your password.
