How to Fix iTunes 8 If the Burner Software is Not Found

If you are unable to burn data, MP3 or audio CDs in your iTunes program due to the "burner software not found" error message you may need to update your software to the newest version of iTunes. According to Apple, outdated software can conflict with your computer's CD burner and prevent proper disc burning. As of October 2010, iTunes 10 is the newest version of the software and is compatible with Windows XP Home with Service Pack 2 or later.
