How to Get a Lost Georgia Car Title

Losing your car title limits your options for your car, no matter what state you are in. The state of Georgia allows you to replace your lost car title fairly easily. You must fill out a form, pay an $8 fee and submit both to either your county tag office or the Department of Revenues Motor Vehicle Division's Customer Service Operations. Bring along your original lien or security interest release Form T-4 as well as your license. Make sure to know your current odometer reading to be copied onto the new title.
