How To Increase the Performance of a Treo 755P

The Palm Treo 755P is a smart phone for the Sprint network. This phone allows you to check your email and browse the Internet. This particular model features a camera, music player and instant messaging. You can improve the overall performance of the phone by installing some additional software on the phone. Once installed, you can slow down or speed up the rate at which the applications run.

  Download the Lightspeed software. (See Resources.)

  Extract the archive to a location on your computer's hard drive. Make sure you write this location down so you can reference it in the future.

  Connect the Treo 755P to your computer and turn it on. Transfer the "Lightspeed.prc" file to the phone.

  Select the application on the phone for which you want to change the processor speed. Select either "High," "Normal," "Default" or "Low" for the speed range. If you select "High," it will give you optimal speed.

  Press "OK" on the computer when done. Repeat the steps for each application on the phone you want to improve in the form of performance.
