How To Install an Electrical Box on a Metal Stud Wall

Metal studs are an alternative to wooden studs when building walls. Metal studs are very lightweight but become sturdy once drywall is attached. They also do not warp like wooden studs have a tendency to do. After the metal stud wall is built, you need to install the electrical boxes and wiring before you drywall. Electrical boxes mount to metal studs much like they do to wooden studs, however the mounting method is different.
