How to Install an Evenflo Tether Onto a Car Seat

A car seat is a mandatory part of child safety. But the seat alone is not enough. You need to ensure that the car seat is securely anchored to the car so that it does not pitch, slide or fall. An accident is bad enough, but to have a child's car seat cause even more damage would be tragic. Properly installed, the Evenflo tether works with your car's seat belts to keep you car seat in place so that your child is safe.

Unclip the tether from the back of the car seat and drape it over the front.

Look behind the back seats to locate the tether anchors. Since about 2002, most cars come equipped with tether anchors behind the rear seats. Depending on the car, it may be a loop of fabric or a hook. Check your car's owner's manual to help identify the anchor.
