Pull the hood latch underneath the steering wheel, then prop the hood using the stabilizing lever on the front end inside the hood.

Locate the front grille assembly inside the hood and closest to the front of the car. Use the screwdriver and pliers to pop out the four light-gray pushpins on the surface of the grille. This may take a bit of maneuvering; be careful not to damage or crack them, as you will need them later. Taking the pushpins out will allow you to move the grille forward without actually removing it from the hood.

Pull the grille toward you, being careful not to bend it too much. Pull it out far enough so that you can see the back of the stock pony emblem on the grille. You will notice that there are plastic pins and metal fasteners connecting the pony emblem to the grille. Pull the metal fasteners off of the studs on the stock pony emblem to loosen the emblem from the grille and then remove it.

Line up the studs on your new pony emblem with the holes where the previous emblem was and insert the new emblem into those holes. Put the fasteners onto the studs, being careful not to break them, and secure the new emblem in place.

Slide the front grille back into place and reinstall the gray pushpins by simply pushing them in. The front grille is back in its place, the new pony emblem is installed and you need to only close the hood.
