How to Install a Nova Headlight

Depending on the year of Chevy Nova you own, the headlights are either round or square. The lenses are glass and the halogen bulb is located inside the lens. When the bulb burns out, you must replace the entire lens. Although this may sound difficult, it only requires a screwdriver to get the job done. This makes the process relatively straightforward.
    • 1

Open the Nova's hood and locate the back of the halogen bulb. The back of the halogen bulb has a wiring harness connector pressed onto three prongs that extend from the back of the bulb.

    • 2

Pull the electrical harness connector off the halogen bulb.

    • 3

Locate the two screws that secure the bulb to the bulb housing. The screws go into the bulb from the front of the headlight. Remove the screws with a screwdriver and then pull the bulb out of the housing.

Push the new bulb into the housing and secure it using the two screws and the screwdriver.

    • 5

Press the wiring harness connector onto the back of the halogen bulb.
