How to Install the Palit GTS 250

If you have purchased a GTS 250 from the Palit website, you will need to install it once it arrives. Graphics cards are devices used to enhance the video quality of your computer. The GTS 250 is an NVIDIA graphics card that fits into an empty PCI-E port on your motherboard. Installing the GTS 250 will take about 20 minutes to accomplish.

  Turn off your computer and remove the power cable.

  Remove the two screws that secure the side of your computer case, then remove the side of the case.

  Insert your GTS 250 into an empty PCI-E port. The PCI-E port will be clearly labeled. Press down on the card and make sure it is firmly installed.

  Insert the screw that comes with your GTS 250 into the hole that connects to your computer case.

  Replace the side of your computer case.
