How to Load OS-FTA Attached Files Onto a Satellite Receiver
All satellite receivers require the occasional firmware upgrade. This includes FTA (free-to-air) receivers. Once you have the OS-FTA files (downloaded from the same site the hardware is purchased through), you need to upload the files onto a the satellite receiver with a USB flash drive. Once upgraded, the FTA receiver is able not only to work with the latest electronic hardware, but also to receive the latest free-to-air satellite programming.
