Read the job descriptions carefully before applying for jobs. Don't apply for those with conditions that you cannot perform. If a job requires frequent air travel, you will not be able to perform this during late-term pregnancy. Likewise, you cannot perform a job that exposes you to chemicals or radiation. If you cannot perform the duties, an employer can legally disqualify you for the job.

Research companies on their websites before you even apply for a job. Look for companies that are family friendly, have on-site day care or other benefits that directly pertain to your pregnancy.
- 3
Decide on what you will do after the baby is born so that you can be upfront with employers once you are hired. Also, decide whether you want to work full time, part time, or from home.
- 4
Do not reveal your pregnancy status during interviews if you do not yet appear pregnant. According to the Washington Post, you are being interviewed based on your qualifications for the job and your pregnancy status is irrelevant.
- 5
Ask the employers at interviews whether they have maternity leave or family leave. Find out when an employee is eligible to receive these benefits if available.
