How to Make Baby Shower Posters

Personalize a baby shower for the mom-to-be and her baby by making your own baby shower decorations, such as posters. Handmade posters can add to the mood of the shower and instantly transform any space into something special for the little one you're there to celebrate. Create a series of posters that complement the baby shower theme or the theme of the baby's nursery. Alternatively, a single poster can become a keepsake the parents can frame and hang in the baby's room.

  Specify a theme, pattern or design for the poster. This might include large letters cut out to look like a banner, each poster designed to look like a giant baby block or a series of animals to complement a jungle-themed shower.

  Use stencils to sketch the image or letters onto the poster board, unless you feel more confident drawing the design free-hand. Make the poster personal for the baby, such as a teddy bear holding a heart with the baby's name. Leave room around the image for guests to sign the poster if you want it to serve as a keepsake.
