Attach the iPod earbuds with a microphone to the headphone port at the top of the iPod Touch.

Tap the "App Store" icon on your iPod Touch and press the "Search" icon. Type "VoIP" in the search bar and press the blue "Search" button. A list of several free and paid VoIP applications will display. Select any of the applications for additional details, including benefits and features of the application. Press the blue "Free" icon for free applications or the blue icon that displays the application's price for paid applications. Press the green "Install" application. Wait for the application to download and install on your iPod Touch. When the process is complete, you will find a new icon for the installed application on the home-screen of your iPod Touch.

Tap the new icon to open the application.

Set up an account. The first time you open the application, you will need to enter personal and payment information to set up an account. Enter the requested information.

Press the phone icon to make a call from the application. The application will display a dial pad. Dial the number you want to call and press the "Call" button. When you are ready to end the call, press the "End" button.

How to Make Calls From the ITouch
The iPod Touch, otherwise known as an iTouch, is a portable media player with a multi-touch graphical user interface. The iPod's Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to download and install applications from Apple's App Store. Several Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications are available from the App Store that will allow you to make calls from your iPod Touch.
