How to Make a Fun Quiz

Quizzes are a good way to add creativity to your parties, and if children and teens will be at the celebrations, it's a good way to educate them on various topics while still entertaining them. The choice of topics for your quizzes may depend on what the theme of your party, the age group of your guests and what types of interests the guests have. For example, if you're having a Bible-themed dinner, you would probably develop quizzes that test everyone's Bible knowledge.

Create challenging questions. If you're developing a quiz that will focus on Latin American cuisine, go beyond questions about familiar Latin foods such as enchiladas or tacos. Instead, think about using questions that will introduce new facts about Latin American cuisine of which some of the guests may be unaware.

Let your guests create some quizzes. If you're hosting a 1920s jazz-themed birthday party for your mother and a few of her friends are knowledgeable about jazz from this era, let them create quiz questions on the subject. Or if a guest has expertise in planning weddings, let the person create a quiz that tests people's knowledge of wedding etiquette.

Give subtle hints. If you have a quiz question that asks guests to name important social movements in America before 1950, mention hints such as World Wars I and II, trends in the American family at that time, and religious trends that occurred during that time.
