How to Make Themes on an iPod Touch 3.0

The iPod Touch 3.0 does not allow users to create a backdrop wallpaper the way that the iPod Touch 4.0 does without jailbreaking the phone. Despite the fact that jailbreaking is not illegal, it will void any warranty you have with Apple or AT&T. Despite this limitation, it is still possible to make themes on an iPod Touch 3.0 so long as your theme only depends on the wallpaper for your device.

  Press the "Settings" icon on your iPod Touch and then press the "Wallpaper" tab.

  Press the "Camera Roll" tab and then press one of the pictures found in your camera roll that you want to make into your wallpaper theme for your iPod Touch 3.0.
