How to Mount a Picatinny Rail on an M-4

Picatinny rails are universal mounting platforms found on large semi-automatic and automatic rifles, such as the M4. Most Picatinny rail systems come in two-piece and four-rail assemblies, although many different variants exist. Mounting a Picatinny rail on your M4 requires a clamp to release the delta ring from the factory hand rails. With a Picatinny rail, you will be able to attach various accessories, such as scopes, infrared optics, radar, ballistics computers, and more.
