How to Move Copying Software

The most effective way to move software from one computer to another, such as a program that can copy files for you, is to uninstall it from the current computer and then download the installation file again with your new computer and complete the installation there. There are native controls in Windows that allow you to perform the removal of a particular program for free.

  Click "Start" in Windows and select "Control Panel."

  Double-click "Add/Remove programs." A new window appears. Scroll down through it until you locate the program you wish to move. Click the "change/remove" button to uninstall it from your computer.

  Switch to your new computer. Click on the download link for the program you wish to install at the new computer. double-click the installation file to complete the move.
