How to Obtain a Tennessee Rebuilt Title
A vehicle with extensive damage that must be rebuilt in order to operate is given a salvage title. If the salvage vehicle is repaired and fit to drive, you must apply for a Tennessee rebuilt title. Rebuilt status gives you the right to title, insure and drive the vehicle. You can apply for a rebuilt title with a Tennessee county clerk's office or by mail. You must have a salvage title for the vehicle before applying for a rebuilt title.
