How to Organize Punches

When it comes to paper punches for scrapbooking or other paper crafts, punches are one of those items that seem to multiply overnight. The more you have, the more you need, until you wonder if you might have to build a room simply to house your punches. Organizing them is quite simple even if it does take a little imagination, and you may find you have the resources to do so right at your fingertips without realizing it.

Find a second hand dresser or bureau to store punches if you have a huge number of them. Even setting aside one or two drawers is useful; the extra space always comes in handy for other crafting supplies. You may also purchase plastic storage drawers, some of which sit on casters to make moving them around easy.

Install towel racks or curtain rods to hang up your punches. This is especially useful for the larger punches.

Store small punches in an old wall-mount spice rack.

Hang an old shoe rack inside a closet or on the wall in your crafting area, and use it to organize your punches within easy reach.
