How to Program a Motorola V3M Prepaid Phone

The Motorola V3M is a prepaid phone offered by Verizon Wireless. You can access the Internet and send MMS and email messages from your Motorola V3M phone easily. But, before you can use your Motorola V3M phone, you have to activate the device on the Verizon Wireless network. Programming your phone to Verizon Wireless requires that you dial a simple activation code.

      Insert the battery into the back of your device. Connect your phone to the charger and charge it for a few hours.

      Dial "*22888" from your Motorola V3M phone, then press the "Send" key.

      Enter your zipcode when you are prompted to do so. You will be presented with your phone number. Write this number down.

      Follow the prompts to exit the system. Restart your phone and make a test call. You will be prompted to select your language preference. Select you language to complete the programming.
