How to Read Evites

The Internet has made many tasks that were once a hassle easier than ever. The website Evite.com has simplified the task of sending and responding to event invitations by using email. A host simply chooses a design, fills in the information and sends it off to the guests. If you're expecting an Evite, all you need to do is wait for the invitation to reach your inbox. After reading it, you can let the host know whether you'll be attending.

Open your email client or log into your email account. Wait for your account to update with new messages.

Find the Evite. The subject of the email starts with "Evite Invitation" followed by the name of the event you're invited to. Click the email.

    • 3

Click the "View Invitation" link within the email. This opens your web browser, or opens a new page if you're reading your email within your web browser.

Read all of the invitation on the Evite. The Evite should include all necessary information, including what type of party it is and where it's being held, as well as any other instructions from the host.

RSVP to the event. These links are right below the Evite. Click either "Yes," "No" or "Maybe" to let your host know if you're coming.
