How to Rearrange Apps on iTouch

The iPod Touch lets you customize your Home screens so you can organize and rearrange app icons however you want. You can create up to 11 Home screens for your apps. You can also create different folders to help manage applications. Navigate to the "Reset" tab of the general settings menu and select "Reset Home Screen Layout" at any time to reset your Home screen to its default arrangement.

Move Apps to Another Home Screen

  Touch and hold an application icon it starts to wiggle. The rest of the app icons on the page will also begin to wiggle.

  Drag the application icon to the far right of the screen to move it to another Home page.

  Release the icon to drop it in place.

  Press the "Home" button to lock the icons in position.

Place App in Folder

  Tap and hold an application icon it starts to wiggle. The rest of the app icons on the page will also begin to wiggle.

  Drag and drop the application icon onto another app icon to create a folder. To remove an app from a folder, tap and hold its icon then drag it from the folder. Drop it onto your Home screen.

  Press the "Home" button. This will lock the icons in place.

Remove App Icons

  Tap and hold the app you want to remove from your iPod Touch. The icons will start to wiggle.

  Tap the small "X" in the top corner of the app icon. A confirmation prompt will appear.

  Tap the "Delete" button.
